    Good, a must have but a few downsides!

    I was excited to be getting this G7th 12 string Capo for my 12 string guitar. Although it probably works just as well as any other capo out there for a 12 string, I have found (so far anyway) that it unfortunately doesn't do everything it claims. I find that I can set the pressure to operate effectively on frets 2 & 3 for example (no buzzing), but fret 1 requires a different setting of more pressure to be dialed in and this takes a bit of fiddling and obviously would not be able to be done on stage mid set. I also find that in all positions strings are being pulled out of tune a bit, something G7th says doesn't happen with this capo and I thought the compensated pad would fix compared to regular capo's. I'm hoping that maybe the rubber will soften with time and this issue will improve. It is still a great capo to have if you have a 12 string guitar, and for the most part does a good job. It is relatively easy to put on and off, it looks stylish and is well made. I have two other G7th capos for my 6 string guitars which I love and find very effective.

    12 string campo, dont buy.

    Won't let you apply enough pressure for my 12 string acoustic. For the price of this product its terrible. Probably works better with 12 electric guitars.

    This capo does what it says I lowered the strings a half step to take some of the tension off and placed the capo at the first fret and it works fine, other capos struggled to cope

    great capo for 12-strings

    having the string compensation makes this the best capos I've tried on my Crafter 12-string, All others press too firmly on the strings and affect the tuning too much - enough for the guitar to sound 'sour' compared to the other instruments, this capo does affect the tuning (of course) but only a few cents - enough to see on the built in tuner, but not bad enough to sound "out of tune"

    Great capo

    I previously had a kyser 12 string capo, but found I had to retune whenever I used it. This design hugely helps with that issue! Works great on my Takamine 12 string Only tiny negative is you can't clip it on the end of the guitar with this design, so when not in use I have to put it in my pocket. Very happy with it !
