Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception is the third in the Uncharted action-adventure game series. It is a Sony PlayStation 3 video game, which released on three continents in November 2011. A sequel to Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception follows protagonist Nathan Drake and his mentor Victor Sullivan to places such as the Rub al Khali desert searching for the legendary lost city mentioned in the Quram Iram of the Pillars. The player takes control of Nathan Drake from a third-person perspective. The protagonist now has a much wider animation set by which he reacts according to his surroundings. The combat action set is also extended. Drake can even fire when moving and sneak behind or drop down onto an enemy. The Sony PlayStation 3 video game has a network multiplayer component with both co-operative and competitive gameplay.
