A power cable is provided to connect to the TR 120. The accessories box also has two adapters: an RCA to 3.5-millimeter and a 3.5-millimeter to 6.3-millimeter. The TR 120 has an attached audio cable that ends in an RCA connector. The adapters can be used to connect to various types of electronics. You can check the type of headphone jack or audio output your digital device provides to find the proper connectors. The accessories box also has two AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries. Five minutes after you turn off the audio source, the base turns off to conserve power. You can select from three transmission channels to avoid interference. A cool feature is that you can transmit to multiple headsets from the same base. These wireless headphones are capable of Hi-Fi stereo sound reproduction with a strong bass response. As a music fan, you will love the wireless freedom that allows you to walk away from your home theater system. Amazing sound quality.

I purchased this particular brand because my brother has a pair and found the sound quality to be amazing. They have a great surround-like sound and there is no interference or humming like the cheaper Sharper Image headphones I initially purchased. Rechargeable batteries are a big plus. The setup was easy and tuning to the TV was a snap. Two bothersome issues. First, you can't adjust them to be tighter on your head, unless I'm not aware of it. Most times if I bend my head down, they fall off because of the weight. Second, and I'm glad it's a one time problem, was getting the power cord plug into the tiny space on the base. The base is big enough where enough space could have been created to make it easier. Needle nose pliers finally did the job. But overall I would definitely recommend these headphones for their exceptional sound quality.

    May have gotten a lemon!

After using this product for to listen to TV for several weeks, I experience consistent problems with the reception and volume control. Reception comes and goes "at will" requiring constant "tuning" to continue to listen to programing. This is annoying and distracting. Volume control is "flakey". It starts at the last volume I had it on, which is way too loud. Then after a minute or so, the volume decrease on it's own making the sound barely audible. So I have to readjust the volume higher in order to hear the programming. Also, the "tightness" of the headphones wears on my ears so that I am limited to about an hour of use. Given these product "features", I regret this purchase and can not recommend this item.

  • An excellent product

We bought 3 of these for our senior citizen group that does not hear very well. The other option was Blue Tooth technology, . . . but with the pairing that had to be done all to often, the extra items needed to make it work, . . . we decided on this technology. Buy several if you want, . . . only one base has to transmit, . . . and they work the full length of our sanctuary. It is a very good product.

  • Still a great deal.

Sound quality is great. Battery charge NEVER runs out if you put the headphones back on the charger after use. I have often used them for 4-5 hours without having to recharge. I find them comfortable to wear, obviously, but I also note that understanding the TV is much easier if you happen to have a TV in a room with poor acoustics. These headphones have been a Godsend for my elderly father, who uses them 100% of the time watching TV even when in a room with all of us...otherwise he just can't hear. The only negative is that I like to exercise in the morning, with the TV volume off so as to not disturb my wife and kids, and I had to come up with a band to wear around the back of my head so the headphones don't fall off when I bend over to exercise, or even to do sit-ups. I doubt that's a problem for most people. Finally, I need to mention that some people complain about the horrible hiss the earphones emit if you take them off while the TV is paused or off, and the earphones are left on. Of course that is to let you know you are using up battery, and it's loud enough that run over to turn them off. I consider the hiss a GREAT feature, and not an annoyance.

  • Great value

Recently bought RS120 so that I can watch TV late at night without waking up the rest of family. Was easy to install, works great and does exactly what I need it to do. Sound quality is good, although I'm not an audiophile. Would recommend it highly, as it is not expensive and good.

  • Sennheiser Wireless Phones

This is an excellent product. I really enjoy using the headset. The sound is clear and the unit is easy to use and recharge. I was amazed that I could even hear the TV from my detached garage that is at about 30-35 yards away from the TV and that's coming through the walls in 3 rooms. Just wanted to see how far I could be from the TV nd still hear it .I will be recommending this product to any friend's that are looking for equipment like this. GOOD JOB ! BJ

  • Excellent product for the price

The directions are not really clear and you may need a teenager to assist with the output settings on the TV but these work just as advertised. I can listen to the TV volume at my level while the 'one who must be obeyed' can listen at hers. Since they are not noise canceling, I can still hear 'the one' when she speaks to me about the program. I am not an audiophile and not terribly fussy about the 'sound'. These simply work the way they should to allow us to watch TV together. Great for us.

  • Good quality build and sound; one major flaw

I purchased this headset for my 88-year-old live-in mother-in-law to allow her to listen to TV more clearly. It was imperative that it be easy to use; the cradle seemed like the best option so she could just hang it up when not in use. All that is great, and the sound quality is fine. The headset base plugs into the headphone jack on the back of the TV, and it's seamless. The flaw is that when the TV, Netflix for example, stops sending sound to the TV speakers, the headset suddenly emits high volume static. For her it's jarring and even frightening. As a result, she has stopped using it, afraid that it will make that loud sound unexpectedly. It was a good idea, but it doesn't fit our use case.

  • Sound = Awesome!

The best thing these have going for them is the sound...it is awesome. Despite them looking bulky they are very light weight. You can still hear people talking and other sounds while wearing them too...so they are not noise canceling. Lastly you can wear them and leave them room or even the house and still hear your show on TV, radio or where ever you have them plugged in. I have had mine for close to 5 years and have had no problem what-so-ever. Elizabeth

  • A newly discovered drawback

I am now on my third set of this device and, until now, have been pretty satisfied with it. The lifetime of this unit seems to be only three years before the headset breaks or the transmitter fails, but at the price that is a small matter. Recently I have replaced my 10 year old Panasonic plasma screen TV with a brand new Proscan 50" LED set, and this is where my problem has been revealed. For some reason, no matter which output I connect my headset to I get a low level hiss in my ears. I have tried everything to diagnose the issue, such as connecting my headset to a different device, and the problem seems to be that the headset just doesn't "like" my new TV! Fortunately, I am able to connect the headset directly to my TiVo device for quality output sound. But that has its drawbacks since the DVD and audio amplifier do NOT run through the TiVo. If I want to use the RS120 for these devices I have to do a plug swap via a switching device, a minor irritation. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has had this same issue pop up. Otherwise, the RS120 is the best such device for the price.
