Almost a comedy
Loved it. It may be a re-write of 'Escape From New York' mixed into ‘Escape form LA’ (similar plot lines, a wisecracking anti-hero & an escape proof prison) but it IS engaging. (and not overly bloody for the squeamish ones). Funny one liners delivered dead-pan, a plot within a plot within a plot. Some beautify psychotic episodes with minor shock outcomes and a few lovely twists along the way. Very well crafted & well worth the watching.
