Performance
My hearing is very bad. I use this wireless headphone for my TV. The sound quality and volume are very good, battery life between charging is good. I tried some other wireless headphones, their volumes was inadequate. For some rewason Sennheiser discontinued this model. I bought this set as back up for my identical set. The original head band cracked. I patched the crack but am not sure how long it will last. Since this model works well I bought a spare. The 'replacement' model is priced way to high. We tried replacing 130s with a later iteration, but they were not even close to as good. Excellent product. Cant go wrong
I have had the HDR/TR 130 for 4 years now and use them every day. I am amazed at how long they have lasted. I use them every day in my shop all day long in rough conditions. They keep going and going. The base station even sits outside in temperatures from 20 degrees to 100 degrees. I have the newer 120 version inside the house and don't like them as much. they have a roll-a-dial to tune them in which is a pain. The 130's have a push button and works a lot better. Extremely effective wireless headphones
Works perfectly to bring quality sound from TV or other source to the headphones. Covers most of a most size house. VERY good wireless link between base and headphones. Sound quality quite good, tho not high end audiophile, if you care about that. Comfort excellent, even tho these are over the ear (thus relatively bulky) headphones. VERY long play time on the 2 AA NiMH batteries, which recharge while the headphone is on the convenient stand. Headphones shut off when no sound is provided for a long time. Overall I am very pleased with these.
