One simple way to add variety to your goods wagon fleet is to build some from the many kits on offer. To do so will also add some fun and satisfaction into to your modelling activities. This kit from Peco builds into a pair of 10ft wheelbase single bolster wagons. A bolster is a block of timber that is laid across the wagon and supports the load. A bolster usually had a vertical post at each end in order to restrain the load from moving sideways. On wagons with a single bolster, the bolster would be able to swivel, so that 2 or more such wagons could be used together to transport a longer load, for example, logs. In common with the other Peco N gauge wagon kits, everything is included except glue, paint and transfers. The body is one-piece, as is the chassis block, making for quick assembl.
