Lightweight headphones with great sound quality
I am very content with my purchase, and I expect to use these headphones for a long time to come. The Solo HD headphones fit comfortably over the ear and completely immerse oneself in the music. Sounding like it's 2014..again, that's a good thing!!
I bought these as a replacement to the pair my wife bought me over 8 years ago (!!). This pair is the Monster version of my Solo HD and I think (and I'm chagrined to say this) that the bass response is such that the overall sound is a bit 'woofy'. Dr Dre. "beats" all headphones.
'Dr. Dre beats' is a superb listening device. I have had them for two weeks. They are great for the road, or where ever I go. They have crystal clear, super bold, deep bass sound. It was my first time trying them. I had always wanted to try theese type of head phones. They are exactly what I had expected, no if's and's or, but's about it. Very sturdy. Outdated but high quality.
This is an older model, one of the first introduced. The Beats are very sturdy, great deep bass sound. I had considered the bluetooth headset, but decided that I like the sturdy and reliable corded headset. No batteries to run out. The cord is thick and sturdy, does not get tangled or coiled. True lightweight wonders !
Been a audiofile since 12 years old. From Yamaha to high end tube designs...headphones are very hard to find the meet true audio quality. One of my favorites are the older Koss . I like these headphones a lot. It's hard to believe that something as small and light can pack so much sound. They reproduce sound crisply and clearly, and the base has depth without vibration. I've got a size 7 7/8 noggin and sizeable ears, and they are comfortable. No, my ears don't stick out. They are just full-size, but not to the point of drawing stares. If you have glasses, beware! These do not feel good while wearing glasses. I also don't recommend wearing them for long periods of time because my ears get sore.
