Remove the canister from the NV356E vacuum cleaner and use the attached hose and accessories in order to reach any crevice. The suction remains strong, making you feel like a professional. Most awesome vacuum cleaner EVER!!
I absolutely love this vacuum and am glad that I ponied up the money to buy such a great machine. The Shark Navigator is a cleaning team in one unit. The dirt chamber is so easy to detach and clean. The filter is right there and you pull it off and clean it as well. As for the on board tools - those are awesome as well. There is one button release and the hose/wand is available with all of the attachments, brush and crevice tool, are right at your finger tips. As for the lift away feature for stairs, this too is very easy to unattach/reattach. It is good for doing ceiling fans and for basements. We get spider webs in corners in our basement, and in the laundry room, and the lift off feature is good to get in those areas. The only thing that would make this machine truly fantastic is that the cord should have an automatic option - but I'm not being too picky. This machine is awesome as my husband has asthma/allergies and it just collects all the dust and allergens and nothing comes back out into the room. BUY THIS MACHINE!!! No better than any other vacuum
This high priced vacuum performs no better than any other vacuum. The hoses are extremely short and the unit tip over easily when using. it doesn't lay flat when vacuuming under something and is very limited how far you can go. The swivel is no big deal and doesn't make vacuuming any easier. Edge cleaning is poor on the right and even worse on the left. Suction is mediocre at best on non carpeted floors. This also is not a true "lift away", there's nothing you can lift away and still vacuum. I've spent less on vacuums that work better. Great for pet hair!
This factory refurb is a great value! It looks brand new, and they way I look at it, whatever it was returned for under warranty is now factory repaired. After using it to clean our low mat area rugs, carpet, and furniture, I would have no problem paying full price for it. But it is a steal at the refurb price. Very easy to use, quiet, easy to empty, and it really cleans thoroughly and quickly. It is built very well and appears it will last a long time. You're missing out!
This vacuum is worth every penny!! Incredibly powerful but relatively quiet, easy to move around with pivoting head, super simple to operate and has multiple attachments. I used my Hoover right before using this and was absolutely shocked! This vacuum really picks up everything left behind. You will be horrified at the mounds of dirt, hair and dust this little thing picks up. There is no way anyone could regret buying this amazing machine! So far ,so good
After many disappointing vacuum cleaner purchases, U may have finally gotten it right this time. I've only used it three times, but so far I am very happy with it. The dirt that was lifted from only a portion of an area rug was amazing. It's a tad hard to push, but I'm not complaining if it continues to work this well. Left photo is right out of the box. Right photo is the tank after vacuuming a strip of an area rug.

So Powerful
Almost one year ago I bought a new vacuum and I was never been pleased with it. I felt that it did not do a good job of cleaning the carpets. This vacuum really sucks! I can't believe how much powdered dirt it pulls out of a clean looking carpet. I went over my carpet when I first got it and was appalled at how much dirt was pulled out. Then I vacuumed again the next day and got almost as much as the first day. The swivel feature makes it easier to get into corners & small areas. Being able to lift the canister away from the vacuum makes cleaning the stairs a breeze. Best vacuum I’ve ever had
I’ve never spent more than $100 on a vacuum, but I decided to buy this one based on the rave reviews. It is worth every penny. Putting it together is easy, switching out accessories is easy, emptying it is easy. It’s light, and actually fun to use. It works well on carpet and bare floor, can get into the tiniest corners, can reach high, and has a ton of “sucking” power. I am in love with this vacuum. Thanks, Shark, for making a great product! Also: if you’re wondering if you should buy a refurbished one, yes - you should! That’s what I did and I wouldn’t even know it was refurbished if they hadn’t labeled it that way. good product at a good price
After having trouble with other vacuums, we bought the Shark and so far, we have been very satisfied with its performance. It cleans well, is fairly easy to maneuver, and is easy to empty the debris bin. We haven't used all of the attachments yet but they appear to be what we need for all types of cleaning. Don't know how long it will last since everything is plastic-we have some concerns about the snaps on the dust bin container for example--but hopefully they will function ok if we are careful. Great on carpet and hardwood.
I love this vacuum... However, when it gets on the carpet and has work to do, the beater brush has a tendency to stop, which then makes me have to turn it off and back on again. I did try adjusting the suction so it wouldn't have to work as hard, but it didn't help. It is really great on hard wood floors though! the canister removes easily too. One thing I would have changed/added was to make the extra attachment for the hose longer, or added 2 tubes to the package.
