This Pokémon game for Nintendo 64 sees players control a photographer named Todd. Todd travels to Pokémon Island to snap photos of Pocket Monsters (also known as Pokémon). A player earns points for his photos as he travels on rails through the island in this game. There are more than 60 Pocket Monsters to photograph in Pokémon Snap and many prove quite difficult to capture. One challenge for players in this Pokémon game for Nintendo 64 is to find out how to get certain Pokémon to pose for photographs. A player must acquire certain items or execute certain strategies to entice the Pocket Monsters to pose for a shot. There are seven different levels of Pokémon Snap, each offering different 3D environments as the backdrop for the player’s photos. A player can create his or her own album and can save up to 60 photos to the cartridge. This Pokémon game has a rating of G8+ from the OFLC.
