PVi100 - The best vocal mic for musicians on a budget
The bulk of my experiences with microphones of this nature has been with more expensive models. The SM58 comes to mind as a mic I have seen/used countless times. And you know what, I quite honestly don't know why I spent hundreds of dollars on 5 or 6 mics when something this good is made at such a low price. The PVi100 is excellent with noise cancelling; you can guarantee the only thing being picked up by this mic is whatever's within centimeters of it. There is only one thing I could see as a downside: it's not quite as high output as your SM58, but this frankly won't matter in most venues or with most competent mixers/amps. I'd say this is a must-buy for any vocalist with limited funds to spend on their rig.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Produces good clear sound. I think it has the edge on the SM58 at a much lower price. I've been performing for over 50 years and I'm happy with it. Peavey mic.
It's an excellent microphone, but you have to turn the treble and the mid-range all the way up for it to be crisp and clear. You have to eat you the bass knob down a bit as well... as a male singer, I can use the microphone, but it's geared more towards a woman's voice. Great mic
This is a high quality mic for the price. Strong signal even from 6-8" away. I use it for vocals, instruments, drums, whatever. I used it on stage in a noisy environment (dance venue) and I could not tell the difference between these and my SM58s, maybe in a concert setting you would be able to tell but it's really not a big difference. The clip is tiny and I wasn't sure if the mic would even fit into it, but once I got it in it seems to hold the mic securely with no issues.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
