This lens is for the hands-on photographer who prefers manually adjusting the focus of the lens. The wide aperture of the item lets you snap photos of images as close as 9.8 inches away. For a camera with a full-frame sensor, this Rokinon lens is ideal for taking outdoor photos due to its ability to shoot crystal-clear, wide-angle images.     Not best colors but very affordable 24mm 1.4

    You can separate foreground from background, which is great. More expensive lenses will give you better colors, though. So while this gives you good depth of field and nice blurry background, the look of the picture is only going to get so good. You might do better with a used zeiss, nikon, canon, or pentax lens that will give you nicer colors and compose your shots with the background farther away. But if you want to save money and blur a background that is right behind your subject, shoot black and white, or don't really care if the colors are beautiful or kind of meh, this lens is a great deal. For black and white it gets 5 stars, though.

    Can't go wrong with this lens at this price.

    I have four Rokinon lenses and love them all. Sharp as a tack, highest quality at a faction of the cost of their competitors. Most complain about it being a manual lens, but that's what makes it so much fun to use it takes me back the to old days of when we did our own processing..
