Good results on i7-9xxx and RTX 2060

Purchased after reading a few positive reviews of pairing this with an Alienware m15 r1. I found that the paste is pretty regular looking and feels the same to work with as most other thermal paste. I saw temps drop 5-10 degrees Celsius for the processor and 10-15 degrees Celsius for the graphics chip. I purchased this laptop brand new and repasted it after 1 day of benching the factory thermal paste. This sh-t is totally worth it. 1g more than enough for 2-3 systems.

  • Top critical review

    WAY overpriced....

This product may perform well, but the price is outrageous. A one gram tube was nowhere near enough to redo the thermal compound on my PS3 (CPU and GPU). A lot of thermal compounds are priced decently - this one is an utter and complete rip off.

  • I didnt believe it til i tried it!

that being said, it doesnt drop temps THAT drastically but even a few degrees is way better than nothing. I used the little spatula with a small amount of paste to get an even coat over the whole surface of the cpu and then applied a small dot of extra paste on the middle of the cpu to let the heatsink spread it under pressure. seems to have worked well since my temps went from 65C under load down to 60C max. idles around 40C now. if you cant find noctua nht2 at a good price then this is a great contender! too bad it can get too pricey.

  • Wish i ordered a bigger tube.

I build PC's as a hobby and have primarily used Arctic silver's mx4. While I've always been satisfied with mx4, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with thermal grizzly's TIM and I was not disappointed. So far it has kept my fx8300 under 40° C under load (before it would hover around 50°, I have a well ventilated case) with the stock cooler and my r9-290 saw the most thermal improvement. Once the thermal paste "settled" it went from 75-80°C down to 65-68°C under full load. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and my only regret is not ordering a bigger tube but from here on out I will probably stick with thermal grizzly's kryonaut.

  • great product

This is a great product. Do not believe me. Check the several Internet pages that put Thermal Gizzly Kryonaut to the test along with other products. For example, check the Overclockers Guide article "Thermal Paste Roundup 2015 – 47 products tested with air-cooling and liquid nitrogen (LN2)," which compares 47 similar products. And, it can be had for a reasonable price.

  • Got a reduction of 6-7 C on a grouchy old Thinkpad W520.

I've been using artic silver for ages - while it gets the job done I have a Lenovo Thinkpad W520 that would throw fits if asked to render 1080P 60 frame video - so before writing this laptop off as being simply too old for the task, I figured i'd try some of this stuff the Kyronaut Grizzly. I can report it is easy to apply, and works great ! My CPU idle temperatures were 53C, and now are 46C. Most importantly this laptop can now render 1080P 60 frame video and even play 4K video with immediately throwing a fit! I'm not a gamer here but it is obvious this stuff works very well and I'd recommend it .

  • Shipped fast, works great

Came as expected, shipped fast Product works well, though it didn't really drop my temperatures down at all; it was still time to replace the paste. I was using the stock thermal pad for my AIO that was like 4 years old.

  • Kyronaut Is The Best!!!

This is the BEST thermal paste I have ever used; it lowered my temps by 7 degrees over the paste that came with the water cooler. This is Thermal Grizzly's best and most expensive paste, however, this is not the most expensive paste on the market. After spending $100 on a water cooler for my CPU, I did not want to use cheap paste. Highly recommend this product!

  • Works great but expensive

Under load, I got a 3°C cpu temperature decrease versus Arctic MX-4 which is consistent with some of the online reviews. Using the included spatula for application, Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut spreads 'roughly' the same as Arctic MX-4. The product works great but is extremely expensive. If you have just one or two applications then it may be worth the cost. However if you plan on doing more applications then I would recommend a more economical product such as Arctic's MX-4.

  • Works better than I hoped.

This is quite good. I only chose based on online reviews, and it peforms well. The laptop I used it on is notorious for overheating, did so after 15, minutes of use, but after using this with copper shims installed, it hasn't overheated yet. I'm very impressed and plan to use my on other laptops.
