Refurbished MSI MotherBoard: Ivy Bridge Chipset Intel Gen 3
I purchased this MSI B75MA-P45 Motherboard to replace an 8 year old MSI Motherboard that died. This was a refurbished item and it worked flawlessly upon installation. I also purchased a used Intel i5-3570k Ivy Bridge CPU, to install on this board. After booting up, I tested the CPU Core Temps. Everything was running Cool and efficient. The only thing I didn't like about this board, is that it is a bit smaller in form factor than my previous motherboard. Great motherboard but isn't too reliable.
I bought this because I needed a motherboard that could support my 16gb of ddr3 ram and Intel i7 3770. When I first turned it on, it posted but didn't detect my boot drive. I decided to restart it but when I did, it didn't give any signal. I check everything until I took out the motherboard battery and put it back in and noticed that is the only way to get it to turn on. I eventually had to get a new ssd because the motherboard just wouldn't detect my old one and I also need to replace the battery every time I want to turn my computer on.

cool little relec of 2012
got the board in from china in about 5 weeks. things are tough and move slow but its all good. considering it was in transit for a very long time the box was in great shape. the board itself is a good 7 years old so it has a few signs of wear at the standoff holes. i bought the board refurbished. I have not had a chance to install it so i will update when i do. i may use the current i5 3550s that is in the machine or maybe go with a higher tier 3rd gen intel chip. i bought the board to overclock the little cpu and squeeze whatever performance i can out of it. as it stands most modern game titles max out this little 4 core right off the rip.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
