From the same company that invented the Roomba, the innovative floor-cleaning robot, comes the iRobot Looj 330 Robotic Cleaner. This gutter-cleaning wonder blasts its way through leaves and debris that accumulate in the gutters. With the iRobot Looj, the robot is placed in the gutter’s trough and it works on its own to clean away wet leaves, small sticks, clogs, and other nasty rubble that collects in those notoriously difficult-to-reach areas. The iRobot Looj uses a four-stage, high velocity auger and ejectors to dislodge and throw debris out of the gutter and onto the ground without any work by its human supervisor. Once placed in the gutter, the iRobot Looj senses the area ahead and adapts to any clog or blockage by providing the appropriate amount of power to do the job. The robot’s handle is detachable and contains the remote control required for manual control. The remote control in the handle of the iRobot has a communication range of approximately 50 feet. The iRobot Looj Robot Cleaner has a low profile allowing it to go under gutter spike attachments and navigate tight spaces. The iRobot measures 2 inches high and 3 inches wide. These measurements allow the iRobot Cleaner to fit into most any gutter system with ease. The iRobot Looj Robot has the ability to spin its auger at 500 RPM in forward and reverse and on clockwise and counterclockwise settings. The iRobot Looj uses its attached scraper to help clear a path through the gutter and provide the most effective cleaning job. The iRobot is watertight and easy to clean. After use, the Looj can be placed on the ground or a gravel driveway and sprayed with a garden hose. The Looj provides both manual and automatic operation. During manual operation mode, the human directs the path of the robot via the remote control. This can be done in forward and reverse or clockwise or counterclockwise directions. During automatic mode, the robot makes those decisions on its own, sensing the most direct path and going forward or in reverse as necessary to clear debris and clean the gutter effectively. When a particularly difficult clog is encountered, the robot has the ability to clear the rubble in stages using multiple speeds. The iRobot Looj Robot’s power source is a rechargeable lithium ion battery. The robot can clean approximately 200 linear feet of gutter on a single charge. A routine cleaning of a 30-foot section of gutter can be accomplished in about five minutes. Climbing up and down the ladder multiple times to clean the gutters is greatly reduced with the iRobt Looj. When climbing is necessary, the robot comes with a belt-clip allowing both hands to securely grip the ladder. Various accessories are available for the iRobot Looj, such as a storage bag with a shoulder strap. Other accessories include a variety of smaller ejectors and attachments that are necessary for cleaning smaller gutters. What its counterpart, the Roomba, did for floors, the iRobot Looj 330 Robotic Cleaner does for gutters. The iRobot makes the disgusting and dirty job of cleaning gutters safer, cleaner, and even adds an element of fun. Worked for me.
Well done product. I have a 3 story home with steep roofs. Gutters have been full and vegetation growing. It needed monitoring but it saved a great deal of work. iRobot Looj 330 Gutter Cleaner
It works, BUT DO NOT EXPECT it to clean gutters that are packed. It simply can't do that. I would only recommend to a house with long straight gutters. If you have packed gutters like I did, use a pressure washer using the RED HI-OUTPUT spray nozzle and quickly blow your gutters out. Then when leaf and Pine needle season starts run the Looj down the gutters and it should do a good job. I think all the Looj can handle is light maintenance work. If the gutters are dirty the Looj will kick out the dirt and you will need to clean up the splatter it causes with a hose pipe. I didn't have the best expectations and while I feel mine "May" have been used once and put back in the box, that was ok as I only paid $84 for it. Not suited to UK gutters
This does not drive in a straight line in UK gutters which are ver6 narrow. As a result, the robot continually flips over and then you have to reverse direction in order for it to continue in a straight line. This is frustrating and now I know why this is no longer sold in the UK. In larger gutters it would be fine but I would still recommend buying an additional battery, so that you use one whilst one is charging.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Would be great if fit under gutter hangers.
Doesn’t fit under gutter hangers. Still have to climb up and down ladder to pick it up to pass the hangers. Might as well clean gutters myself as much as I have to go up and down anyway. It it weren’t for this issue I think it would be able to clean and perform its job. I was looking forward to using this tool, but instead I am disappointed. Long story short, it does work.
Maybe my gutters were extra bad but due to the lack of weight, it will rotate itself upside down - therefore it things forwards is backwards and vise versa. This can be problematic in auto mode as it will just reverse instead of going forwards towards the debris. Overall it is worth getting on sale. Love this robot!
I have irobot home vacuum, now this! This is so much fun and very effective. Just make sure you the a tug line to it so you can pull it back in case it gets stuck. Dry Leaves are easy, our gutters had moss! (Because I can't reach it, I have not cleaned the gutter for three years). Get it only if your gutter hangers have large clearance

Does what it says.
My only gripe is battery life. That said, the battery charges in a few minutes anyway. It beats cleaning the gutters manually. Once you get a hang of the controls, the task is actually fun. Just make sure it doesn't go to a part of the gutters that is inaccessible if the batteries die (or tie a string to it). If that is a risk, just charge it about every 7-8 minutes and you should be okay. Extra batteries are very expensive so don't bother looking for them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
