A quality two for one
When you buy a product you want a great quality at a great price. I just had my pool resurfaced after 20 years and the guys who did the work take care of the pool for the first 30 days. They recommended I get new filters and offered to sell me a Pleatco filter at their cost of $80. I passed and ordered the two pack for $84.99 with free shipping. When I got the two filters they were blown away. They try and do their customers a favor and pass on the filters almost at their cost from their supplier. They confessed that they thought I was going to get cheaper filter and end up regretting the cheaper quality. This was not the case. It pays to do your research. PROBLEM
THIS FILTER IS A DIRECT REPLACEMENT FOR THE OEM HAYWARD FILTER. I TRIED IT FOR THE FIRST TIME LAST WEEK AND HAD A HARD TIME GETTING IT TO SEAL. IT DOES NOT SEAT LIKE THE HAYWARD FILTER AND I BELIEVE THAT IS THE PROBLEM. I HAVE TWO OF THESE FILTER SET UP'S SO I'M QUITE FAMILIAR WITH IT AND I KNOW THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE FILTER NOT ME. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS I GOT THE FILTER TO SEAL AND IT HAS WORKED FINE. PERHAPS IT JUST NEEDS TO GET SOME USE. I WOULD NOT BUY ANOTHER ONE AT THIS TIME.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Our pool was cloudy, even though it is professionally cleaned every week. Bought this brand of filter based on a recommendation from our pool service company. Installed at 10pm at night and noticed a difference by the next morning. Within 48 hours, the pool was crystal clear. Very nice 4 banded filter
This filter is pretty heavy duty and has the 4 bands to keep everything in tact. It also has mold/mildew deterrent, which is a total plus, especially when cleaning the filter and it goes back to WHITE.
