    You'll never need to buy another

    Got sick of buying expensive so called no stick frypans that are lucky to last 12 months. Followed all the care instructions but still useless in the end! Got a 26cm lodge a few years ago and I love it. Follow the seasoning instructions and you can't go wrong. You'll never think of buying another frypan after owning one of these. Recently got the 30cm for a little more cooking space and it's just as good. You definitely won't regret buying one

    Everything as expected.

    Lodge pan - can get in USA for about USD$40. That’s about AUD$60. Add postage and the fact I didn’t have to go out and shop, it’s not such a bad deal at $89. It came as expected, a day after it was meant to but we had a public holiday so that’s forgiven. Cast iron these days don’t come smooth so I will have to get something to polish the surface and then reseason it (lots of good videos on YouTube about how to do this). I’ve ordered a silicone handle set from somewhere which should help when it arrives. The pan itself is not well balanced with such a short handle but it seems to be a sacrifice to get it to fit into ovens better...perhaps? The helper handle is helpful though. I’m looking forward to cooking lots of nice steak, bacon and omelettes on this bad boy! Cheers

    Excellent quality and cast iron is the best to cook with

    I can’t fault the quality and workmanship of this lodge pan. After I seasoned it and take care of it per the instructions it has cooked my meat to perfection. Cooking with cast iron makes your meat taste like it has been cooked on the barbecue. Love it and highly recommend.

    Does what it says it will do

    Solid cast iron, albeit with a rough texture. I sanded my pan down to make it smooth and re-seasoned it with 6 coats of oil. This morning I made some scrambled eggs in it and there was no sticking at all - the eggs came out beautiful.
