Good value and a must, especially for portrait photographers.
Good condition as described. Slight slow focusing as expected because of the heavy glass. But since I use it mostly for slow subjects like portraits - not an issue. Must be very careful when mounting or un-mounting as the rear glass element is way to the top - kind of flush with the mount. Also manual focus difficult due to very free/loose rotating focus ring. Challenging to shoot at full open 1.2 due to very narrow depth of field. I find it sharp at any aperture. Although some may argue that stepping up to 1.8 or 2.0 is sharper - more so I think it is because of the depth of field and ease of focus rather than sharpness. Some may also note of chromatic aberration at wider open - but i think it is more pronounced due to more light (direction) coming in. This can be controlled through managing the direction, flares etc. of light. Expensive lens like these I recommend better to buy used ones from reputed retailers.
