I always buy the 'giant dog' size doses of Frontline and measure 5ml size doses for my cats. Works flawlessly and the savings is significant. Frontline for cats and dogs have identical levels of fipronil, while Frontline for dogs has a slightly lower level of methoprine making it safe for cats. I have used Frontline Plus on my cats for years, and it has successfully killed the deer ticks that attach to them, along with keeping them free of other insects. I squirt each large dog applicator into a small brown-glass vial for storage, then use a syringe to put the correct amount (.5 ml) on each cat.
