Quick and easy
Already had a Tefal deep fryer ( about 10 years old ) needed to renew, bought this new one for it's compact size and capacity, works really well and heats up much quicker than my old one. Very happy with my purchase.

Smart Deep Fryer
This medium-sized deep fryer is the perfect size for a family of two or three. An innovative feature is the fine filtration false-bottom which lifts out and removes small specs of food which may be left in the oil. The oil tank is stainless steel and can be easily washed in the dishwasher.

Attractive, stylish, does what it was designed for with ease.
Does what it should do with ease. Very attractive on the bench as well. However given that the owners manual says to use 4 liters of oil, the container is large enough to easily and safely hold 5 liters and is much better given how high the element is off the bottom. I'm a happy customer and definitely recommend The Tefal FR5181 to anyone seeking a great deep fryer.

Excellent little fryer
Heats up quickly & frys to perfection. Compact enough to leave on the kitchen bench full time or stored away in a cupboard. I use mine outside under a covered in area, leaving no fryer smells inside. Works a treat.

Simple operation, dial the temperature then set the timer.
The heating element separate to the timer, so it is just a matter of using the timer and then turning the unit off manually when ready.
