Great engine, very smooth, more power than the briggs & sh?t engine it replaces. Easy to fit however there were no mounting bolts supplied as the thread on the engine did not match the bolts off the old engine as well as no keyway supplied however used the one off the old engine. Engine fitted to the mower body easily, added oil and fuel and engine started on the first pull of the cord. Have used the mower three times with no issues, hopefully this continues with more use. Great easy install.
Needed some new bolts. M8 metric for those wondering. With different lengths. Bitta locktight. Needed to use spacers to get the engine high enough to original. Found the shaft from engine base is 80mm. To my standard of 60. No comment on longevity here but if it gives me 10 jobs. It will have paid itself off.

Awesome just absolutely amazing. Just had to get some different bolts to suit this motor. Bolted it on added fuel and oil started as directed in manual and wham oh . A good, sturdy well built piece of engineering.
Fitted straight on to my old mower with any trouble. Having filled it with oil and petrol it fired up easily. It seems to have a fixed governor rpm setting which could be faster but I will see how it performs under load once I get the blades on. If not it does seem adjustable. I needed a new blade boss and the Loncin had a smaller drive diameter shaft. Part readily available from Massport so that was no issue.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
