Good little tank
Light and filter both made by sunsun, the light is an ads400 which is more than adequate, even if you went co2 route. The filter is a hbl-301 which is okay if you get rid of the supplied media and add your own however it has a rattle that I can't seem to eliminate. filter box instructions poor
Tank is good, filter instructions leave a little to be desired, they are not clear and do not show photos of the model that was included. We had to google to find pictures that would be helpful. I am thrilled with this tank, really great dimensions, I am a big fan of HOB filters and the light is awesome, very sleek and modern looking! It also arrived within 2 days - a day earlier than was estimated which was exciting as I am very impatient! Only issue I had was I think the instructions for the filter I got were actually for a different filter.. the smaller tubing parts of the filter that came in a separate bag don't seem to fit together properly, the filter is running and doing its job but I have 3 extra cylindrical pieces I don't know what to do with..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A good basic aquarium set up. I have had to adopt my son's tropical fish which were originally in a much bigger tank. They seem happy enough in this one which has a strong filter and good bright lighting. All I needed was a heater and I made a lid out of another spare piece of glass, essential as fish can jump out if there is no barrier. Superb and stylish starter aquarium
Fantastic aquarium, looks great, good quality, very bright LED lights. As mentioned by other reviewers, the HOB filter was lean on instructions but is no reason to rate this kit any lower than 4 or 5-stars. Examine the pics in the booklet carefully and connecting the pipes should be no problem for any competent person - more info is easy to find with a few basic web searches. Sides are straight and true, glass is very clear, base is sturdy. Item was packed safely, box-in-a-box with airbag and foam protection, absolutely no damage and delivered very quickly after ordering. When it's time to upgrade to a larger tank, this is the brand I'll be buying again. For a starter tank, this kit is a bargain and highly recommended.

Needs a lid
