Zero Gravity Chairs
Friends recommended that I buy these because they were the most comfortable and easy to fold up/down for outside chairs. So, based on their reviews, I got them---and discovered they are the best when used to view celestial sites -- full moons, shooting stars, satellites, etc. and keep your neck from craning. Very timely purchase because shortly after receiving them, had a knee replacement and these chairs became porch and inside chairs so that I could comfortably recline to elevate the new knee. Not Zero Gravity Chairs
I purchased 2 chairs which were advertised as Zero Gravity Chairs. They are NOT zero gravity chairs. These chairs have knobs on them to adjust levels, zero gravity don't have knobs. I purchased these chairs for my mother, who is 76 and has Rheumatoid Arthritis. She can't turn these knobs to adjust the levels. Real Zero gravity chairs are adjusted by your body. Comfortable with great features.
Love how one can extend/strech the lounge using your hands while sitting in the lounge. east to fold and carry. Love the locks on the sides- you can save the poosition of the chair for the next time you use it. Only shortcoming: it's about 2" shorter than my optimal length. Not actually Zero Gravity
If you sit on a zero gravity chair next to this chair, you can feel the difference. On my other zero gravity chair (not this one), the angle is such that you tilt back far enough that more weight is toward your back - NOT your legs. A true zero gravity chair will feel more like when you go very far back in a dentist chair or sit in a standard chair and put your feet up on a table that is higher than the seat of the chair. Blood flows back from the feet and legs and you feel more relaxed. THIS CHAIR DOES NOT GO BACK FAR ENOUGH...it only takes a couple of degrees to matter. I listed this as a good value and gave it 2 stars instead of 1 star because they are $30/chair and good enough for my kids to lounge around in. For me and my wife, however, I am buying a duplicate of my other chair that is truly Zero Gravity.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
