Mattress topper
Bought this queen size one to cut in half for the single beds in the Caravan. Cut easily with electric kitchen knife. Feel the topper would be quite warm in the hot weather, but comfortable. Great Quality, does not cool
This is a great quality product, appears to be very well made. The memory foam is soft, supportive and comfortable. However do NOT buy this product if you are expecting it to cool. The advertising for this product seems to amplify its "cooling" features. In use, it actually increases body temperature. It is not cool to the touch regardless of "cooling gel" and does not offer any ventilation. Because you sink into the memory foam, it increases the amount of surface area covered by foam which has an insulating effect, thereby warming your body. Recommended for winter use. Very comfortable!
Have used egg crate foam toppers for years and found those of good thickness and good quality great. However, when we recently needed to replace the latest one they weren't available so purchased the Giselle Bedding Memory Foam Mattress Topper instead. We found it to be a little soft at first, but we got used to that after a few nights' sleep and now we wouldn't have any other topper. Guest Bed
Often the guest bed is not as good as regular bed.
