One of The Best for The Money...
The Worx 3-in-1 is excellent quality for its price, and far superior both in form and function to most other blower vacs--even the more well-known international brands such as Ryobi, Black & Decker, Sunbeam, or Hitachi. One of its superior features is its metal impeller/mulcher blade, which is often the first part of the machine to fail if it's constructed of plastic, as are many similar priced blower vacs. I've also had no issues with the mulch collection bag failing due to tearing--as has been reported with several competing brands, some at a considerably higher price. The effectively designed impeller function easily produces a 10:1 mulching ratio, which is ideal for spreading over garden beds directly from the bag. Its vacuuming function works as well as expected, with the ability to pick up all types of leaf matter--wet or dry-- and even small twigs and seed clusters without clogging. The blower function is simple to operate--just a flick of one lever to switch from vac to blower, with the blower air velocity easily adjusted with a turn-knob on its outlet tube--from a breeze to a cyclone! My only slightly negative comment would be in the length of the shoulder strap that supports the mulch collection bag. I found that for my 178cm frame, the strap is too short even adjusted to its maximum length. I've corrected that by buying a cheap $3 camera strap of identical construction and width, and added it to the blower vac's existing strap by means of its buckles. Problem solved! Overall, I can thoroughly recommend this Worx blower vac as an economical and sturdily constructed machine that performs well above my expectations, particularly when weighed against its cost. Well made product
Product needs to be assembled & this is quite easy. Only tried blower once, compared to my Still blower it is under powered. But that is not why I purchased it. It was for the vacuum & this works very well. We have several large trees in the yard & at this time of year the quantity of leaves is over whelming. The mulch feature works fine, I think the metal blade helps in this regard, & in turn gives a saving on large plastic bags needed. Suction better than expected.
i have had petrol blower vac before and didnt want another one. I researched what was the best blower vac and the WORX come out on top. It was affordable. The suction power is greater than expected. The power cord is a pain but ok for short periods. The shoulder strap strap is small but lacks a handle to steer the direction you need to go.
