  • A good pin nailer that performs well

This Ryobi 23gauge pin nailer performs well and does what it's advertised to do. It sets the pins nicely with no issues. It's not painfully loud when it fires and the lithium battery is long lasting. The LED light is excellent. The longest pins it can load and fire are 1-3/8". Would be nice if it could have gone to 1-1/2". I've had no jams, loading is simple. The shortest pins it can use are 1/2". The pins do almost disappear which is delightful. It's a good little device that performs well. I suggest a pin nailer purchaser review the comments by buyers of the pins. It's clear that some pins do not perform well in some nailers (Makita in non-Makita pin nailers) and other brands perform well in all pin nailers (pins from Porter-Cable). I was excited to learn I could purchase both galvanized and stainless steel pins for my nailer. As a last note some buyers did not realize that these "pins" have no head. They're sharpened on one end but are just otherwise are the pins are just a very thin cylinder with no head. But, if you consider nailing pins on both sides of a picture frame corner, you'll realize that this joint is largely locked in - heads not necessary and no heads to show! I recommend this 23-gauge pin nailer.

  • Great fine woodworking nailer

Great nailer for fine woodworking. Decent weight even with the adapter I used to convert my 20-volt DeWalt batteries to the 18-volt Ryobi system. The dual safety trigger is a bit cumbersome, but I got used to it. Nails fired easily and were almost invisible, with no depth adjustment needed. Seller sent on time in opened-box condition as was clearly stated in the offering. I don't know how long batteries last, because I won't be firing any more than 100 nails at any given time on my types of projects. P.S. I ordered a box of various-sized 23 ga pin nails from Amazon. (Maybe E-Bay had them, but I didn't see them offered.) Note to E-Bay: It would be helpful if there were an easy way to source needed batteries/chargers for the tool-only products or advice on converters. I spent two weeks trying to ascertain how to get a battery and tripped over a Youtube video that mentioned volt converters.

  • great features and very lightweight

very easy to used and powerful tool in sinking all the nails.. only downside is that there is no depth adjustments which would be nice to make it the perfect pin nail gun.

  • Fast, light and easy.

I have a Ryobi Brad nailer but I like using this Ryobi pin nailer because it’s great for fine finish work with usually no need for caulking. It’s lightweight with a belt clip and comes with some pin nails.

  • This Pin Nailer Rocks!

Great nail gun for base shoe molding; headless pin nails are almost invisible when installed. Having cordless nail gun is icing on the cake; no hoses to trip over, no noisey compressors to listen too and you can work all day on a single charge. I love it!

  • Very good nailer

I have sixteen nail guns from different brands. This is the nail gun i use the most. Nuff said.

  • Great Nailer

I already had the Ryobi 18ga air strike nailer but thought I could use the 23ga. Great little nailer, haven’t had any jams and all the pins are put in just below the surface. I’ve used it on oak as well as engineered hardwood. Would highly recommend. I’m sure a few of my neighbors will borrow it so we all win

  • Excellent nailer

This is my first nailer I ever got. I needed it for a plywood build where I just glued and nailed the pieces together. It holds up great.
