Outstanding Quality all round
This is the 3rd time I have bought Azdome car cams, they are reliable, wide angle lens to capture all you can see out front, I also preference the direction of the camera slightly to the right to capture full view of traffic on my right at roundabouts, as most drivers want to smash through the roundabout not realising whoever is in the roundabout first has right of way, not that they are on your right and they expect you to wait for them, and picture quality outstanding, I would highly recommend buying from Azdome. And fast delivery, very well package and idea as a gift. Dash cams have saved me from accident claims 5 times now in 6 years. They are your INDEPENDENT witness for you or especially a "P" plate driver "that are always at fault" if you understand my meaning. I have tried over a dozen different brands of dash cams and found Azdome to be the most reliable in a hot car and brillent picture quality. I have just purchased 5 more dash cams to upgrade from HD to 4K the existing Azdome dash cams still work fine and will be gifted to a few friends. Cheap and viable for the short term.
Runs at 4K 30fps or 1080P 60FPS, does well enough to capture stuff. The internal battery is about 280mah so the moment you shut your door on exit, the camera detects impact (even on low sensitivity) and will be dead in about 30 seconds. The compression on the recording is also pretty severe and can be difficult to make out small details such as number plates (which is why I'm running it at 1080P 60FPS for more detail via frames). If you're looking for a dirt cheap dash cam for a while, this will do you. If you're looking for a solid dash cam, do not buy this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent dash cam
Purchased for the purpose of documenting trip statistics such as GPS coordinates, time and speed. The camera has outstanding picture quality and simply works the way it should, without any hassles. Any recordings subjected to a G-force trigger is saved in a locked folder. This can be an issue when traversing rough terrain. I am still trying to stop this feature. The only negative in my opinion is the extremely small battery storage. The camera can only record unpowered for a matter of seconds, just enough to shut down in an orderly manner. Good Value great high mid range unit. Cheap for what you get
Found it to be of great quality for the price, reading negative feedback seems to relate to connecting to the Phone, I had no issue at all, the menu is extremely easy to navigate through, even operating through the phone was a breeze, agreed that downloading from card to phone was a bit slow but let us be honest, how often will you be doing that? unless you are extremely unlucky and crash a lot :) connected to tv via HDMI cable and worked a treat so overall it's worth having a serious look at if you are looking for a good quality high mid-range dashcam.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Many features on a compact unit all of which are very usable
Firstly, this item will NOT work until you fit a class 10 micro sd card. Secondly, once its working it is rather complicated to set up owing to the fact the instructional booklet is rather vague. Brilliant unit for the price, Has features of more expensive units.
Great little unit with a clear screen and wide angle lens. I have had dash cams for years, and this is the best by far. back up battery is good for a few minutes as instructed. All the others I have had, the battery is useless and keeps losing the date and time. I love the GPS location tracking and speed feature. I mostly keep to, or below the speed limit so the speed recording is good for me. If you a bit of a leadfoot, I suggest you turn it off. Tthe cable is way long enough and they give you clips and even a little tool to hide the wire in the door trim. Once you set the location where you are in the world, the time sets itself and is 100% accurate. I saw this camera on Facebooks 'Dashcams Australia' and was impressed by the quality, so researched it. For the price this is a brilliant unit. Great dash cam at an affordable price
This is a great little dash cam. It has a large 128Gb SD card (much better than normal 32Gb), good choices of resolution and other settings and it is easy to "drive" the menu for setting it up.
