A bad oil pressure sensor cannot trigger the warning light when there's low oil or an oil leak. A bad sensor is unable to detect the difference between high oil pressure and low oil pressure. Do not wait for severe damage to your engine. Replace a faulty oil pressure sensor to immediately detect low oil pressure and avoid overheating. AutoMeter's accurate engine oil pressure reading sends a signal to your oil pressure gauge on the dash to alert you of the problem. Check out Autometer's engine oil pressure sensor feature points below. SENSOR, OIL PRESSURE, 0-100 PSI, 1/8" NPT MALE, FOR SHORT SWEEP ELEC. Features Sensor Body Materlal - Plated steel Thread size - 1/8 in. NPTF Includes 1/4 in. NPT adapter bushing.

Good product! A tip: If your 2242 sender malfunction, first check if it's clogged. My was. With small parts of sealing tape.

  • Fixed my issue

Over the past month my oil pressure hadn't been reading right. i assumed my oil pump might have been getting weak. While driving last week, my pressure dropped to nothing it's home. Car still ran great, looked at it last weekend, found sender had NO with multimeter. This got me back and now my gauge reads right again. Glad my oil pump wasn't getting weak.
