From video cassette to DVD.
The DVD is not as good as the original video cassette tape even though the cassette was only in 4:3. There are sections of Chinese spoken that have not had subtitles brought over to the DVD. These sections are important to the story. Also the original cassette had the bloopers at the end of the movie, which are entertaining and worth having. The convenience of the DVD and the better aspect ratio are a plus for the DVD, but overall it has lost something in the crossover.
