Product Information

Joe Buck is the son and grandson of Texas prostitutes. A loser all his life, he decides to move to New York and make a living as a gigolo. His trip northward by bus is a brief tour of the seamy side of the American heartland. Joe hits the big city, yet finds the same sense of doom and despair that he thought he had left behind is waiting for him along the sleezy boulevards of New York's Times Square. There he meets Ratso Rizzo, another outcast, who lives in an abandoned building and makes his living as a cheap, two-bit hustler.
