    A great classic sega system....

    The Sega CD brings a different level of gaming to the Genesis while it is not as amazing compared to today's standards in gaming it was amazing in its first release as the cd format brought forth some memorable titles for its time, it had its great games such as Sonic CD, Silpheed, Road Avenger and many more and it also had it's not so great titles to boot such as some of the FMV titles that flooded the system, but I digress as what's good to some might not be so great to others and on occasion some Sega CD games where the exact same as the cartridge based version of the same game except with maybe a few new levels added too it but in most cases they mostly just improved upon the music soundtracks of those games by using cd audio sound. If you're a purist and just want to own the actual hardware then this classic is a must have but be aware the systems are getting fairly old by this point, parts wear out, burn out so some maintenance will be required at some point and not just that but this requires you have the Genesis as well in order to use it.

    Gaming perfection

    This was a replacement for a sometime working Sega CD Model 1 with sliding load tray issues so this model 2 was needed. It works like brand new. Starting improving the game library again because I have a perfect working system to enjoy them on. Would highly recommend purchasing one.

    Gave me a spook, but then it gave me a smile :)

    At first the system wasn't turning on and I was afraid maybe I had done something to it, but after I made sure the connection between the genesis and the sega cd was clean and tight it worked perfectly. It is really well maintained and it looks really pretty with my genesis model 1.
