I found this very easy to install and operate.....especially as I already had some existing Gedcom files from earlier work on my family history. Ability to combine different types of information and plenty of room to add notes and details. The basic... the program's main function, which is to compile a Family History Tree is simple. The tree displays are simple but with this reservation. Navigating around the tree when the tree is large could be easier if the 'click & drag' method is used rather than having to go to the menu bar each time. Adding individuals to the tree is straight-forward, and is fun to use There are problems when it comes to FH6's other features, such as adding citations, it is complex and the help file has to be called on often !!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very easy to understand and follow
I have been using this program for a couple of weeks now and although I have not used any other genealogical building software I found this extremely easy to enter data and search for family members I especially find the note section handy for each person and I have had no problems with updates or freezing with this program (I am currently running on windows 10). when you have finished entering all your family data you can print a section or your entire tree if a hard paper copy is wanted maybe for older relatives to see I would recommend this software both to new and experienced researchersVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
