The gel works for me
Meibomian gland dysfunction, so I have adequate supply of tears, they just don't lubricate. Using the gel on the waterline of the lower lid, I now have about 75% improvement in the quality of my tears. My optometrist commented that the glands are improving in appearance. I've only been using this gel for a couple of months so I don't know if I can expect even more improvement over a longer time. Before starting the gel, I'd have to prise open my eyelids in the morning to get in enough eye drops to be able to blink, now my biggest problem is feeling so 'normal' I can actually forget to use the product! It is the only product that gives me relief for most of the day. I have found that all of the Eyedrop products l have tried give short time relief, like an hour or two.
