Twin tub is basic but performs well.
The Gecko twin tub washer is simple and easy to use. Very quiet . Does not have town water "in " fittings. Fill by hose or bucket into tubs. Easily done though. Water drain is easily done onto gatden or bucket. This is not a "Set & forget" appliance as each wash/spin stage requires operator input. Poor description. Not like a regular washing machine.
I had to buy this and open it to find out how different this is from a regular washing machine. Description on the ad is very poor. - Water inlet hose does not have screw on connector that is standard on all washing machine hoses - Water level is not automated and must be controlled manually using external tap - Drainage hose must be lowered to ground level in order to drain, making it mostly unsuitable for indoor use - Wash and rinse cycles are not combined and require manual interaction to perform - Manual advises a 45 minute wait in between each use to avoid overheating. Not sure if this means between the wash/rinse/spin cycles, but if so, that is ridiculous. - Spin dryer is really tiny and this is not demonstrated adequately in the ad. It's about the width of my hand (maybe half the diameter of the wash tub) and I estimate only good for one or two items of clothing. This means it needs multiple uses to dry a single load, and with the 45 minute wait in between uses, it becomes extremely inefficient to the point of being almost completely useless. I did not actually use the machine as the above issues made it not possible in my apartment, and also it would have excluded me from getting a refund. I could not recommend this for even a single person household in terms of regular use - for me, hand washing will be far more efficient in terms of time taken, effort required, and electricity and water consumption.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great machine
This item is great, only used once so far, bought it for my caravan, and washes more than most others, first of all to everybody, this is a small and transportable washing for travelers, if you are looking at a house you have some serious issue to buy this, it does the job, performs well, it performs very quiet, and does everything I need it for

Happy camper
While renovating the laundry, I bought this washing machine as a temporary solution while having no laundry. It is also to replace a single tub I had previously. I now ask myself why didn't I buy this one in the first place. I would recommend this machine as a temporary solution for renovators with no laundry. After renovations, the machine will be a back up if my main washing machine breaks down. If you expect to perform like a large washing machine, you won't get the performance, but it does get you out of trouble.

Nifty little thing.
I got this twin tub washer for the caravan park. In the end it will cost too much as well it's easier. It looks little ,but performance is really good. As well the spin cycle is funtastic,the washing gets funtastic clean and nearly dry. Money definitely well spent.
