Great on a tripod
Don't know why they provided a strap. I would not want this around my neck for any length of time. Best utilized on a tripod which is my intent when purchased. As applied, the product fully meets my expectations and is worthy of recommendation. Good value for the price point.

A lower end high power binocular of medium quality that requires a tripod for use of far away objects.
Product is advertised and featured as being capable of using and adding 1 1/4 inch astronomical filters to the eyepieces. It does not, and was confirmed by Celestron customer support. It is incorrectly advertised. I am thinking of sending them back since I can not use them for my intended use. The focus knob is very tight and will barely reach infinity focus, maybe to 1000 meters but not all the way to infinity. Not much difference optically between the normal and the pro version since I own both and have compared them on far away objects and stars. I find the focus on the normal version easier to use and will reach infinity focus. I would not spend the extra money on the pro version since they perform equally well.
