Parts need altering to fit
Ordered new bowl and top (correct part numbers according to manual). Top arrive first after 6 weeks. Bowl finally arrived much later. Top would not latch to bowl. Had to grind off over 1/16 inch of plastic on latching surface in order to close top. Opposite side does not match up to latching surface. Obviously made in China with no quality control. Not much choice when original was no longer functional. Would never order parts from manufacturer again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fit well, but only ater extensive modification.
Cuisinart listed this bowl as a direct replacement for the original. It was not. I had to cut and reshape the latching structures on both the bottom where it joins the motor, and the top where the lid attaches. It took more than an hour ow work but now it fits quite well. I do like the fact that the new work bowl appears to be made of polycarbonate plastic which should resist the cracking that the original suffered.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Glad somebody stocks them
I really did not want to get rid of my food processor. It is perfect for my needs. When the original bowl split my mother in law had one in storage for a long time ago. It fit and I used it until it finally gave out after more that 30 years of service. Cuisinart does not carry them any more and this was a natural place to see if any one had some.
