Worked right out of the box
Great value for the price point. No issues so far; had to connect TVs to the 5GB port as they were unable to find the 2GB (?); not sure what was up with that. All laptops + cells connect to the 2GB. UI fairly intuitive; able to change my wifi name to "Free Virus." Note: what brought this purchase on is that I finally figured out my $450 five year old router was honked up... connections kept dropping, kept having to reset, etc.; it had 2 WAN ports and the one we'd been using suddenly stopped... reverted to the 2nd WAN port, but too afraid to keep using (how do you wear out a router anyway?). this router has whipped my network in to shape with a quickness and smile on me face!!!
this is worth its wait in gold. i have about 6 devices that were going directly thru a wireless broadband modem. the thing is fantastic as well but id have it setup like i wanted, then check it a few days later and all my devices would be doing there own thing, never saw anything like it. that and a couple more reasons i bought this used router. one of the best IT type peices of equipment ive ever bought. got it setup as best i could guess abd have had one peep of trouble from it or my wandering devices since. if your like me, you love speed reliability without being taken to the cleaners. this router will do the job in an excellent way. i do recommend this product and the seller as well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Asus router is superior to all the other lesser brands!!!
I've gone through a few routers from other manufacturers and this Asus AC1300 is by far superior to the other brands. Strong, consistent signal
This new 5Ghz router gives MUCH better download speeds with a stronger signal than my older 2.4 Ghz router. Download speeds have increased from 25 Mbps to 200 Mbps and the signal is more stable. I no longer get internet connection problems on Zoom meetings.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
