The Chamberlain Keychain 956EV/EVC remote is of very good quality and seems likely to last many years. It is far superior to all Genie products I have ever used. This remote has an excellent range of 300-400 meters. Terrible product. Dangerous to own.
The buttons are too easy to press. I put it in my pocket and walk away from the house and I turn around to see the garage door going up because the button was pressed in my pocket. Needs a cover over it or needs stiffer/clicky buttons like on a car remote.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Quality a an affordable price.
I have had one of these, similar to this, but about twice the price. It worked very well for years. It still works today. The only problem is I ran it over with my snow plow and now it is in pieces, but held together, still works. I then went shopping for an exact replacement which I found for even more than the one I had. I also found ones, not exact, that I could and did buy all 3 of for less then half the price of the first one. None of them worked very well. I then found this one and found it cost more than these last three, but still less than half of the exact replacement. Once I followed the directions for setting it up, which were easy if followed, it worked great. I then bought a second one and it is exactly the same.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I need a convenient way to open my garage when riding my scooter, bicycle, or just getting yard equipment out of the garage without having to go to the car and use the garage door opener. A pocket size remote opener for Chamberlain,LiftMaste and Sears Line any Vintage
This is one of the pocket size remote that will accept any vintage Chamberlain Brand/:LiftMaster, Sears garage opener. It will accept any opener that has yellow, purple, red/orange, and green learn button. Program is easy by pushing the program button on the side and then press the desired button ( the nuber of times based in the color of the leaen button on the opener). Once it is connected press another button and you are done, I have Chamberlain opener on one button, one old Sears opener on the second button and LiftMaster on the third button. You do not need to be a garage door opener expert to learn the programming and the different brands.
