What I expected
Many of the reviews I read said buttons are good and responsive but the pad is slippery for more advanced users. I found the same thing. I’m guessing if your ordering an old PS2 DDR pad in 2020, your probably an advanced player! I added the sticky pads to corner that were provided and also added some drywall tape across the bottom which helps it grip to the carpet, which helped slightly. Definitely dance with caution until you get familiar with the pad, and with most things new, it’ll break and slide less the more you use it. Have fun!

Pretty good for it's price.
Awesome! I use this for DDRMAX2 and SUPERNOVA 1 for the PS2. There are little pads that can be placed under the mat for some traction but on hardwood floors I had to put weight on all the sides. When you play Standard and above you'll need to be constantly moving around and jumping and the traction can be a little annoying. I'll probably go for the foam pad mod via plywood to make it a mock hard pad. Otherwise the buttons and sensitivity are great. It was a little too sensitive at first but after a few hours of playing it worked itself out. I recommend this for a person who is thinking of getting into DDR and/or beginner 100%. Great price.
