Very Poor design for IPhone 7/8
I’ve used the defender case for years on other iPhone models The iPhone 7/8 face plate rolls up on the right side creating a gap and void from phone screen. The right button on the phone doesn’t engage well through the case. The lighting plug entry through the case is awkward. I’ve bought 2 now as I first thought it was just a flaw. The 2nd case I purchased is doing the same thing. Very poor design for the 7/8 iPhone I now have to find another brand and it saddens me as they were Great before No fault of the seller

Otter Box Case for Iphone
I have had OtterBox Defender cases over several years. They have been durable and functional. I spend a great deal of time working on projects indoors and outdoors as well as ride motorcycles and snowmobiles subjecting them to the elements. Needless to say, I have also dropped the phone on occasion without damage to the phone. Once I dropped the case and phone during a 33 inch snowstorm. The phone was found in a stone wall about a month later. After charging, the phone worked perfectly. This was due to the covers on the openings for the charger and the switch to silence the ringer. Usually any moisture getting into those area render the phones useless. It truly was a Defender. Recently I decided to try a refurbished case and was surprised with the quality of the case I received.

Seems to provide good protection. It came with a see through plastic screen protector, but to provide impact protection you need to put it in the holster. The holster as received will not fit in your front pant pocket because of the belt clip.

Best case for your phone !
You can’t get better protection than the otter box Defender series . I have used them for 10 years and have never damaged a phone - very well made and military specs . Five stars for the authentic otter box : don’t use knock offs .
