portable speaker for hard of hearing people
I researched and decided to by this speaker, as a matter of fact I bought 2 of them. I hooked them up to my TV's and enjoyed the sound right next to my recliner chair and bed ! If you have a newer TV then hooking the speaker up won't be a problem. If you have a TV like an Insignia from Best Buy you will have to buy an adaptor to convert analog to digital output. I bought the converter for 1 of my speakers and now it works fine. The other TV was a newer Vizio and the speaker just hooked up to the audio out ports. I like this speaker because it can be moved to where you are and won't bother people around you in the same room. The battery is rechargeable from the stand ot you can buy an adapter like I did and plug it in next to your bdechairoutside or whatever.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

a pair of blue tooth headphones would be a better sound.
I contacted the manufacturer without any response / help. I had to purchase 3 items to get the remote system to work. Digital Optical Audio Cable $14.86 Mini to RCA Audio Cable $6.96 Audio Converter $29.88 Total cost before tax $51.70 I have to use the wall outlet also, because the remote part doesn't work.

Fabulous product. Works very well.
Newer tv's don't have the quality sound they used to and many tv shows and movies now have constant music that makes hearing dialogue difficult. This product solves that problem very well. And, if you're like my mom, who hears ok but sometimes has difficulty understanding so keeps turning up the volume, this will do the trick. You can set this next to you, turn down the tv volume and turn up the speaker volume and not blast out the rest of the house. It's not a replacement for the sound bar quality, so if you're thinking of that to get that stereo sound, this is not a great substitute. But, it does what it advertises. When mom's not here, we steal it and put it on our main tv for those maddening shows where you can't hear what the heck they're saying! Love it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
