  • Great Product

This product is one that I have had experience with for the last 40 years in my retail computer store, and I found that the Arris/Motorola brand had excellent quality

  • Best price and best wireless modem espsecially with four ethernet ports

Works great and easy to install. Replaced Xfinity wireless modem that cost $15.00 per month. This price was the best on the internet. Had trouble connecting Alexa to unit. Finally I left Alexa unplugged for a day, followed app instructions. No need to buy new Alexa/Echo. Unable to use landline phone with this modem but new this going in.

  • Decent all in on cable modem and wi-fi router.

This is decent all in on cable modem and wi-fi router. I upgraded to DOCSIS 3.1 b/c I was afraid that Xfinity would stop supporting my old DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem leaving my family without Internet with zero notice. I feel I'm good now for many years! Also to protect all my electronics at my house I've installed a whole house surge protector at my main electrical panel. Also since I have a big house I did have to buy a TP-Link range extender to get decent wifi speed in the 2nd floor bedrooms since my cable modem & wifi router is located in the basement.

  • Awesome modem/ router

This product is very functional, compact, and lightweight. It's helped increased my download speed drastically. It was easy to set up and the app associated is very user friendly and straightforward. I highly recommend this Modem/router combo if you need this much speed

  • Good alternative to Cox Rental

I bought this SBG8300 . Because I needed to port forward more ports than my current cox Rental would allow me . Works flawlessly.

  • SBG8300 Good Speed and Range

The price is a bit too high for regular, every day working people to afford. If it was 50% less, more people could afford to buy it rather than rent one that is outdated from their cable provider. You get good range on both 2.4 and 5 Ghz frequencies as well as automatic switching for best speed. Buying this divice solved my range issue.

  • Great Modem/Router Combo.

Great product after 2 weeks of use. Getting great connectivity throughout our 2500 sq. ft home. Easy to set up -- though depending on your internet provider, you may need to do some troubleshooting (as we did with xFinity). Still was resolved/up and running within 12 hours.

  • Unit is running as advertised.

The modem was installed fairly easy. I needed a little help with ARRIS to set up the Wi-Fi and they did a great job for me. Unit is up and running OK so far.

  • Arris SG 8300 Docsis 3.1

Very happy with my purchase. This modem is much better than the modem my internet company provided. Streams great!

  • Not what it should be

For various reasons, I only had the unit for about one week before I had to return it. Afterwards I bought a Netgear C7000. Even though the Arris was superior in almost all specs on paper, the Netgear outperformed the Arris. Our house is a large, two-storey unit, and I was planning on using some extender units and now, with the Netgear, they may not be needed. I was surprised at the results.
