Lightweight and useful
Lightweight so unable to take a lot of weight on shelves, but is good for seedling trays or alike and still worth the small cost of $52.95 for 2 shelves per box. Very useful shelves and would be able to take a greater weight on each shelf if they had a central support bar which isn't included in flat pack even though there are extra holes within the frame available for a bar but maybe the needed bar could be purchased separately. I'm still happy I bought the shelving.

Lightweight BUT remarkably sturdy Recommended with reservations
I have waited until I put this shelving together and installed it in my garden. So I can assure you it is very simple to put together. Its lightweight made it easy to construct and move into place. And there are TWO stands in the package which make it very good value. However, it is very limited as to how much weight can be placed on it before the rods slip from their 1/2 ïnch housing. This would be a very dangerous item to instal where there are small children. I have made mine workable by using three rods at each level (spares from the second set) and using cross pattern tie wire so the rods cannot slip from their housing. Great garden shelves!
I brought set of 2 and made one w/ three tiers and one with five to fit the space. So great and flexible. Wire shelves are made for smaller plants and can’t take too heavy weight, but they are perfect for smaller/ lighter pants. fair for the price... but the more substantial plastic shelving for only a few dollars more is a better bet.
Easy to assemble and looks fair. Very light weight and only useful for light pots. No facility to stabilise it on uneven surfaces (easily managed with a couple of wall anchors). Lightweight garden shelves, roomy and easy to build.
This lightweight open mesh product was perfect for my needs. I can put small pots of cuttings up away from the ibis which digs them out. I cable tied the back, middle shelf to a strong stake so it can't tip forward in the wind. It is light to move around.
It has plenty of shelves, I want to grow seedlings so it is just right for me. I wished it had been a little bit wider then it would have been better standing. It is well built so i think it will do me. I put wheels on mine which made it better to move around.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very lightweight not too strong
Not a very strong item, so only good for small items not heavy pots etc., I would not describe it as steel storage it is very light tin and bends easily, it works if you do not have anything heavy to put on it and it will need to be braced as it is so light it falls over easily.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
