  • Easy to justify the extra cost.

I researched quite a bit before purchasing and found most people recommended regular chain over the tungsten variety but decided to give it a go as I was so sick sharpening as I spend a lot of time cutting firewood that is more often than not filled with a core of rot and dirt and what not. I had quite a talk with Bill before I purchased the chain and following his advice on how best to use this type of chain and not abuse it I can honestly say I wish I had down this a lot sooner, it cuts every bit as well as regular chain but it just keeps cutting and cutting. As far as I'm concerned any extra cost in having to get diamond sharpening stones or wheels or whatever you use is a small price to pay.

  • Great chain for dirty timber

Used this chain to cut up old fire damaged timber. Standard chain would have probably done 4 cuts before being toast. This one did 4 tanks of full (lost count of how many cuts). Definitely worth it if you have to cut up 'abrasive' timber.
