The tv show series is a very entertaining series staring Patrick Stewart as John Luc Percard and the other group of actor/ cheracters. Flying through space interacting with fictional other life forms.

To sum it up 'Excellent'.
I'm a big fan of the original series and was a little bit biased at first and didn't think this could be as good. I have watched 7 episodes of season one of STNG so far and have enjoyed every minute of them. Looking forward to watching the rest!

I've loved the Star Trek franchise in all it's forms since 1st watching TOS as a child. The Next Generation is a natural evolution from TOS. The complete series was a very good value for the $ and the characters are well developed and continue to grow throughout the series.

When this first aired I was skeptical that it would be a rip off of the original series. After seeing a few episodes I liked it and the characters were different from the original series. Along with the original series they are both enjoyable shows.
