I am a chocolate maker. I needed something that could keep my coloured cocoa butter at a working temperature and in temper. Initially I was skeptical about it because it goes crazy at startup and the temp shoots up to @50degC and then stabilisers. Too my Suprise my cocoa stayed in temper and worked perfectly.for 3days until I finished. I suppose that it would work as a pie warmer as well, but it does me fine.
