The Nikon Camera is exactly what I was looking for. It takes great photos! I get Nikon performance at an affordable price. I'm new to photography, so I decided I needed a nice camera. After months of shopping online, in local stores and reading a few thousand reviews, I found the Nikon 5200 was the camera I should be getting. I've had my Nikon camera now for about a week. Every moment I had, this camera was in my hands. I've been playing with all the buttons, lens, dials and I'm so happy with the ease of use and the great photos it produces. It's my, opinion Nikon makes the best photographic equipment! I'd recommend this camera to anyone! My family and I are very pleased with this purchase, price, delivery time and the "star" Nikon camera.

No Manual
I got this factory refurbished nikon for a great price. However it looked like I could have bought it from a pawn shop for the same price and did not come with the manual and very little like an SD card. No it does not say it has one. But Factory refurbished at Nikon gives one so whats the deal?

Grate camera,
works well, have lot of fun with it, its semi professional, intrey level, but still if your just shooting one pic at a time, will do the job well. I think if yo need faster or better quality go with a Cannon Mark5 IV, will be my next camera, best for the price. But this cam can do it all. I dont think it has messed on any pics so far.

It is a good DSLR camera . It's really got some nice image quality but not with the VR 15-55mm lens. You must purchase a different lens to have exactly what you want on your pictures to look like. It's also kind of navy camera thou, so, I decided to also buy the standing legs. The camera its in a good shape and also easy to use only if you know how to use a DSLR camera. ... 👌

Pictures are very sharp, the camera is relatively easy to use.
I've been playing with my new camera for a few days now and am so impressed with the ease of operation and the fantastic pictures I have been taking from scenery to portraits. I've own and used Canon, Manalta and Sony in the past but they will find storage in the closet from now on. Love my Nikon and the kit that came with it. Best deal ever!

I am very happy with this product. The Nikon Camera is exactly what i was looking for and takes incredible pictures and videos. The auto-focus lens works exactly as expected, and comes in handy when taking videos or just taking quick pictures. The memory card writes pretty slow so i would recommend purchasing a memory card that writes at least 70mbs. Other wise you do get some fuzz on low lighting vids due to the writing not keeping up with the camera. The tripod was not the best, but it works. I would definitely recommend purchasing a good tripod for a camera like this. The flash is very bright and takes clear pictures at night. The extended zoom lens goes for around $150 dollars alone, so getting that with this camera for just an extra 50 bucks is incredible! You can be pretty far and get pictures that look like your standing right in front of the subject. It is complete manual focus, and once you learn it, it is amazing and fun to use. The memory card reader literally fell apart and did not work from the start, but you have to realize the tripod, memory card, and the bag are cheaper parts of this set. Looking back now i realized that i did not get the smaller tripod, but that is ok ill write the company .Over all i think the set is worth a lot more than the price, and is an incredible camera to buy. Nikon stays on top of its cameras, unlike what I have read and seen about Cannon. I would definitely purchase this product again if needed, or for a friend.

I love this camera
I am an individual who is confined to a wheelchair because I'm quadriplegic. I use a tabletop that attaches to the top of my arms on my wheelchair. I also use a tripod to hold the camera. Then I use the camera itself to show me what I'm taking pictures of. When I'm satisfied with the autofocus I click the shutter. If a quadriplegic, can use this camera, anyone can. All the extras that you get with it make it well worth the price. I would recommend buying this camera to anyone. Thank you for asking my opinion. Great DSLR Camera
Most reviews state that this camera as well as other older, inexpensive DSLRs are great for beginners, which it is, but I’m a seasoned pro photographer that’s leaving the newer modern world of mirrorless back to digital cameras with mirrors. I personally love the Nikon d5200 because of the swivel LCD screen which is great for shooting macros and videos, it’s 24 megapixel sensor and low light capabilities, and how lightweight it is which makes it a great hiking or outdoor camera. With videos, it’s not as advanced as my Sony a6300 which shoots 4k but it does shoot the preferred 1080p at 24 fps which is great for cinema, documentaries or home use. And the best advice for lenses is to go beyond the 18-55mm kit and use lenses with high apertures such as f/4 to f/1.8.
