These lightweight wireless 900 MHz headphones have thick ear cushion pads with a self-adjusting tilt and are adjustable for adults or children. The headset works in much the same way as Bluetooth – connecting to an on-stand charging base station transmitter – and keeping you mobile within a 164-foot range. The JVC wireless headphones use a radio frequency to connect to any device: MP3 players, computers, TVs, radios – virtually any audio or video equipment. The headphones use a PLL-stabilized transmission technology, which works like Bluetooth or infrared devices, but with a much larger range than Bluetooth. Large, 40mm diaphragms bring you crisp, high-quality sound, complete with auto tuning. And whether you’re watching a movie or TV show or dancing to your favorite tunes, you’ll forget you’re wearing these headphones – they only weigh 8.82 oz. Chores become a breeze when you have these lightweight headphones keeping you company. Put on a podcast, listen to an audiobook, or pull up your favorite music while you’re working around the house. The self-adjusting tilt works with you to keep the portable headphones comfortable, and the auto-tuning feature keeps the audio sounding its best. The headphones have a handy volume control feature on them and an auto-scan button if you need to make a quick adjustment to your radio frequency. You can even have two of these portable headphones in the same house when they are adjusted to different frequencies. So whether one of you wants to watch TV while the other listens to music, or you both want to listen to music while working around the house but can’t agree on a style, you can both use the JVC HA-W600RF headphones at the same time. You can also set them to the same frequency if you want to listen to the same thing while moving around. The JVC HA-W600RF headphones come with Ni-MH (DC 1.2V) rechargeable batteries with a 10-hour lifespan so you never have to wait through that annoying charging time. The batteries can be recharged right on the base station. Plus, the headphones charge automatically when they’re placed on the charging base station. The headphones also have an automatic on/off function, which is triggered by how far away the headphones are from an audio signal or equipment. If they fall out of audio range, they’ll turn off and save your battery power. Get within the 164-foot audio range, and they’ll automatically turn on, a great feature and battery saver. These headphones come with the JVC original paging/call back function. If you set down your headphones and walk away, only to return later and discover they’ve walked away, just head to the transmitter base station. You press a button that sends a signal to the headphones to start beeping. Then just follow the beeping sound until you find them. Problem with the black base I received
The black base I received did not work. Power light did not turn on as like my old one. I did not receive the power transformer as shown in the above picture which could be a problem since I experienced the same problem with my old unit. i was not able to contact the seller. Great product.
Been using a set like this for years but batteries finally needed replacing. JVC makes it so you can't use regular batteries and have to buy theirs but couldn't find theirs. Used regular Nimh batteries and scraped the coating off the last 1/4 " on the negative end as their negative contact is on the side rather than the end. So my old set is working fine.
