Good Quality at a Fair Price!
Fluval Stratum is good value for money compared with other high-grade plant & shrimp substrates. It provides a wealth of nutrients, does not degrade as quickly as others and did not cause my tank to have a huge spike in ammonia either. The aquasoil allows for aeration, so it does not become compacted, but provides enough grounding for the aquaplants to take root and remain where you planted them. The other good surprise, was the way that it was packaged, so nothing would spill - double bagged - with 'FRAGILE' sticker on the external bag!
