Good quality, good value, and keeps PC running

I've owned this for about 4 weeks now, and am very happy with my purchase. This is powering an Intel Core I-7, 5960 with 32GB of ram, (with NVidia Quadro FX video card) and I have had no issues whatsoever. (This is a work computer running CAD/CAM software) We have had one or two power blinks since the purchase, and the computer was unaffected. Plenty of power, and plenty of "back up time" if we need a controlled shutdown due to extended power outage. I did not load any UPS software - didn't feel the need to. We will definitely purchase another of these the next time we need one. (Last unit was APC brand, and circuit board died at 3 years - warranty was 2 years - thus my switching brands)

    Disappointing

Item got in with damage, burn in the back panel, side wall box open, cable plug dent.

  • Security Cameras systems Works great.

This is a perfect surge suppressor battery backup for surveillance systems. I have it installed on a (16) camera system with a (2) terabyte hard drive system. It pulls a total of 58 watts @ 120vac. With the Cyber power I have 1 hour of power to the total system less the monitor if I lose the main 120vac power. The push button display is easy to work to tell you what every thing is doing. Line voltage, wattage, power left, power used. Outstanding for my use.

  • A Top Notch UPS Unit

I ordered this item because I live in an area that has frequent thunderstorms and power surges & outages. I spent some nice cash upgrading my tower to a gaming tower and I didn't like the surges causing my PC to do a hard shut-off which can potentially damage the hardware. This UPS is ultra quiet and is able to supply my Tower that has a 450w power supply effortlessly with a battery supply time of 30+ minutes. The pull barely hits 20%, so I went ahead and added my router & DVR to it as well since it comes with all needed surge protection for the most commonly used lines. This unit didn't come with a software CD but the installation guide was very easy to follow and directed me to download the application from the manufacture website which was very easy. I didn't have any problems with installation on my WIndows 7 machine and the utility was very easy to use and configure. The application has automated shutdown features which was exactly what I was looking for to prevent any improper shutdown damage during a thunderstorm power outage. Overall it's a great silent unit that will do exactly what it promises. Saving your hardware, your data, your time, and ultimately your money. Great investment, Very satisfied.

  • A good UPS that can be used as a stand alone AC power source.

Got ~29 minutes lighting a 100W bulb with the new internal Interstate SLA battery after it was fully charged. You can cold start this CP1000AVRLCD UPS without it being plugged in first just by turning it on so beware you don't drain the battery inadvertently. This feature is good if you want to use it as a stand alone AC power source.

  • Gently used, and performs well

A good deal on this model, used. It is a square-wave output model (not sinewave), but for a PC power backup, it doesn't really matter since the power is rectified to pure DC anyway.

  • Good Value UPS

The UPS is compact, worked right out of the box, and has no surprises.

  • Works great, very pleased.

It works just as expected. We had over twenty power flashes during a windstorm and the PC and the Internet gateway remained unaffected while the lights and appliances went crazy. It shows it will keep the PC and internet up for over thirty minutes.

  • I like it

We lost power in the house during the storm the other day. My PC automatically came up with a note telling me I had 10 minutes of power left and it gave me time to save my stuff and shut down.
