No more shaving legs every other day!
I bought this 5 months ago. I am light skinned and dark blond/light brown, and had very hairy legs (and very thick hair), and it works for me. I love it! I waited this long to write a review because I wanted to see if and how it really works. The longer you use it, the less hair you have, and less often you have to use it. However, I do recommend that you inform yourselves of differences between laser and IPL, and how it really works. I use it after shaving (you can also use it after waxing, but not after hair removal creams and such, because of the chemicals), and in 5 months I came from having to shave my legs almost every day to having to do it every two weeks or so, and it works wonders for ingrown hair. I could probably go longer than that if I don't mind a few hairs that sprout in that period. My legs still look way better after three weeks now, than they had looked after two days back when I only shaved. However, if you are looking to get something that will magically and in no time rid you of body hair permanently, this isn't it, and something like that doesn't exist. I'm just saying that because people tend to think that laser zaps your hair forever. The only thing that I do not like is that when I'm doing my legs, it gets overheated because legs take long to do, and then you have to shut it off, and wait a few minutes for it to cool off a bit, and then you're good to go again. On the plus side, it has a very long lamp life, and you don't have to buy replacement bulbs all the time. It has 5 different settings, so you can adjust the flash if it stings to much. I use 5 (highest) on my legs, and 4 on underarms. The higher setting you use, the better results. It also has a face attachment. I haven't used it, so I can't comment on that.
